With Business Intelligence make the right decisions

Excel, CRM, ERP, Finance package: does it dizzy you too? So many different systems within 1 organization, that makes for a mess of data. Total oversight then is not easy and time-consuming. Business Intelligence (BI) is changing this.

Why is business intelligence so important

  • It provides insights into all relevant data sources from your organization;
  • Save time and misunderstandings by eliminating manual processes from different Excel files;
  • It prevents mistakes, which can save your organization a lot of money later;
  • It provides the right information, when you want it and where you want it, giving you a grip on your operations;
  • Data is used proactively in decision-making processes;
  • Data-driven decisions are transparent.

Data visualization and analysis tools with a business intelligence dashboard

When you start applying Business Intelligence in your organization, there are a number of steps that must be taken before you actually have a dashboard that you can control. The data and analytics process, as we call it, is important here to execute properly.

Every relevant source (think of; AFAS, Exact, Dynamics, Navision, Numbers, Twinfield, Visma, EPD, SAP) will be unlocked, so we can be sure that the right data is used. All this data is stored in a data warehouse. This data will then be cleaned up, according to business logic, so that data is ready for reporting. Data is loaded into a data model, where appropriate relationships are established between tables and where all measurements are made centrally. So that there is one truth and there can be no misunderstandings about definitions of the KPIs.

When this is completely correct in the data model, visualization can begin in reports and dashboards. From HR, marketing, finance to sales, all data must be clearly displayed.

Companies that take care of collecting, updating and creating quality data are generally more successful.

Business Intelligence also provides users with comprehensive and easily shareable visualization capabilities.

Customer behavior and buying patterns can be better determined and researched through Business Intelligence (BI).
